The Baloch clothing is nomadic, Having migrated from Iran during the medieval period the Baloch people lived mostly as gypsies which is what makes their culture more interesting.
The main attire for men and women in Balochistan has been the shalwar kameez, well-known for other ethnic groups living in Afghanistan and Pakistan, which is made up of trousers (shalwar) with as many falls as that of an indian dhoti and shirt (Kameez) the most interesting element in this attire is an overcoat (qaba) or a waistcoat (sadri), these waist coats are heavily embroidered in ethnic patterns made by local women using colourful woollen threads and each pattern combines to create a unique design which is a representation of the area or dialect it belongs to e.g Dera bugti, Kalat, Makran etc
